| A new release, v.0.28.1, of CK-ERP, has been posted at SourceForge.Net, sourceforge.net/projects/ck-erp . New features include, Sample school chart of accounts, System upgrade script, menu choice for warehouse, retail store, tree view for BOM, inventory category, service category, import of eGroupWare addressbook, full (draft) Spanish translation [improvement suggestions most welcome], and, connector for CATS, php-residence, Open-Realty, phpScheduleIT, PSCafePOS, OpenBiblio, Centre/SIS, ClaSS, Care2X CK-ERP is an open source accounting/MRP/ERP/CRM system that runs on top of multiple middlewares. It comprises 23 modules - Administration, i18n, Data Import, Contact Management, Customer Relationship, Customer Self Service, Vendor Relationship, Ledger, Bank Reconciliation, MRP, Warehouse, Inventory, Service, AP, AR, PO, SO, Quotation, POS for Cashier, POS for Manager, HR, Staff Self Service and Payroll. It provides accounting and back office functionalities to SMEs and utilizes the underlying middleware to administer accounts/groups. | If you are asking for help, provide lots of detail so problems can be reproduced. Things to describe: Operating system ATutor is installed on - ATutor version - Patch #s applied - ATutor theme name - PHP version - MySQL version - Webserver & version - Copies of error messages - Changes to default settings - Web browser being used - ...and anything else relevant - How can this module be used in ATutor Posted: 2008-10-03 00:10:57 | ||

| Hi, adesua, Thank you for your interest in CK-ERP. A simple answer to your query is that a (ATutor + CK-ERP) installation can be used by an e-learning institute, with ATutor providing the front-end e-learning facilities while CK-ERP supporting the back-office operations, like paying teachers salary, recording website operational costs, maintaining the accounting ledger, etc, etc... | this ck-erp free stuff is a fraud. you cannot install the software or integrate it with atutor because the uthor ch wu delibrately removed all the theme files in the themes ck-themes folder giving error during the initial installation and prevents you from going further. now when you want to or asked for the themes in the thems folder...ck wu asks you to pay $25 for each thems.... if h wu wants $25 ...he/she should just say that up front and not waste peoples time giving the impression that the software is installable without the themes. people are not here to play games...i spent two nights trying to figure out whats wrong with my server not knowing initially that ..the author delibrately remove the required files to prevent installation and then collect money for that....this guy should be exposd and let everyone knows that the software is incomplete and some payment is required before you could have all the files to make it possible.
