Hiya,

I'm looking at deploying ATutor as the LMS platform for a series of online courses I've designed. I'm currently researching a few features of ATutor...

Can you help me determine:

1) The degree of design customisation possible?

2) My courses will be asynchronous and not offer student blogs, forums, a community etc. Will the offer look a bit skinny inside ATutor with this functionality turned off?

3) Who runs good administrator training courses for ATutor in South Africa or the UK?

4) My commercially available courses are going to be short, self-paced online courses featuring video, podcasts, course notes and interviews with subject matter experts. Can ATutor handle this type of format easily?

Thanks for your help!!!

Regards
Fraser

1. You can customize any way you like

2. You can turn off any course tools you're not using

3. Here's a couple providers in the UK that may offer training (though the weblearningtree domain seems to have expire). I'm not aware of any services is SA.
www.weblearningtree.com/
web.mirata.ltd.uk/
www.e-learningcentre.co.uk/

4. ATutor will handle those formats, and more.

I suggest playing with the demo for a while, and perhaps printing off a copy of the instructor and administrator handbooks using single page view.
