| AChecker-PHP is a GPL php/mysql based Web application used to evaluate the accessibility of Web content, that adapts to a variety of international standards, and allows customizable sets of accessibility checks. Using the previous Java version as a model, and reusing the XML based checks it used to create accessibility tests, a php version of the AChecker parser is being developed, and the data is being moved out of the XML files and into a MySQL database. Using an ATutor like installer, AChecker can be installed on just about any system in a matter of minutes. Some of the key developments coming up are: Internationalization User Accounts Web Services Accessibility Check Authoring Tool Those interested in getting involved with AChecker development, either helping with the above features, or developing features of your own, start by posting your ideas or intentions here, or contact us at: www.atutor.ca/contact.php Posted: 2008-09-10 17:29:19 | ||
