| Can content item(s) be made prerequisites for subsequent content as well as assessments? We would like to stage the progress of the user so they can't jump straight to the main assessment at the end. There are questions to each section, but they are scripted, and much easier if they could be static content items and somehow use those to flag completion (i.e. when they get to the final page). Is this method of progress tracking possible with Atutor as it stands? Thanks in advance. Posted: 2010-12-20 16:55:48 | ||

| no, content can't be used as prerequisites for other content as it stands. It might be possible to use data from the tracker to script something that would do this, but it would be a bit of a project to put all the pieces together to make this functionality part of the system. There'd need to be an option something like prerequisite tests for the content editor, and it would need to adapt when the tracker is turned off. And I'm guessing there'd be other things that would need to be considered. Posted: 2010-12-20 18:54:28 | ||

| Establish dependencies between content is a very useful application that should be included in future improvements of ATutor. Posted: 2011-05-02 07:46:46 | ||
