| Adding a module that would allow web conferencing and application sharing (so on can share a live PPT presentation with others) would grately improve ATutor. Something could be built around AComm, adding voice over IP and the hability to share applications to the existing whiteboard features. This, in my opinion, would make ATutor a leader in Open Source LMS/LCMS. Posted: 2005-08-24 11:01:38 | ||

| We've talked about adding VOIP and app sharing to AComm, though that will require some significant work and funding. It will be easier and more economical to develop a module around an existing VOIP/App sharing application. We are looking for suggestions for which application might be a good candidate to build into a module. Keeping in mind it should be cross-platform compatible and open source. | Hi, I think you should have your own conferencing system. Web conferencing is an important business tool for any businesses. In fact, just about every business at one time or another probably wishes they could invite a group of people to a virtual conference room to collaborate in real time, share applications, chat and do other things when face to face is not feasible. These applications are implemented as four meeting types in Turbo meeting This really helps you in your business you can get your own web conferencing system from RHUB Communications. In addition to web conferencing, you can get several other features such as file transfer and PC remote control. Hope my suggestion would be helpful for you. Best of luck! Posted: 2008-03-01 03:40:29 | ||

| There are modules for Marratech and Elluminate, which do much of what you've described. If we were to build a module for RHUB, there would need to be funds to support the work. We don't normally take on integration projects for commercial systems unless they are willing to cover the cost of development. Posted: 2008-03-03 09:00:28 | ||
