The Search function now only searches through the content, right? It would be nice if everything was searched, like forum posts, FAQ articles, Glossary items etc.

How is it possible to search a big forum in ATutor?
As I See the search function is not searching there.

I agree to this, there is no way to search forums inside Atutor now, only the course content you find in the content navigation.

I agree too, this is a needed feature.
Though, I doubt if it's worth developing when we have google's "site:..." command.

the google site command would not solve this. googly will only be able to index open courses, but a bigger problem is probably Atutors URL structure.

as there are no unique URL per course (this is managed with user cookies) all forum listings have the URL forum/list.php, all FAQs have atutor/faq/ etc. this also complicates linking to content in open courses from other sites.

Yeah, really, for some reason I missed it. It changes the situation completely.

We haven't got a single open course, so Google and other search engines indexe only a few our pages.

Maybe were going to have to require account confirmation before being able to post to this forum. Seems to be more spammers registering and posting their %*#@% lately.

I dont know why my site/post was spammed. I just gave a info on my site(elocalfinder.com) which had a meta search engine feature. I just posted a topic related to this post.

Shaun, wouldn't you admit that your post was VERY distantly related to this discussion.
Not to harm your site actually, but such irrelevant posts are spam by definition.
