Your backup file is fine.

Manage>backups>upload.

If you can't figure something out, the handbook can help.

your question is:

How is this trial course?

I'm interested in importing quizzes in various formats. For exmaple, I've got quizzes in GIFT, WebCT and Hot Potatoes formats. Is it possible to import them directly to ATutor?

Currently, no it is not possible. We are introducing IMS test import standards, which may make it into the next release.
