Theme has crashed system

| Things to describe: Operating system ATutor is installed on - Linux ATutor version - 1.6.2 We have just upgraded to the latest version of ATutor. We then had a go at changing themes (only using the ones provided). This has crashed the whole system. We now get this error from the login screen, even when we reverted to the default theme: Warning: require(include/../themes//theme.cfg.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/webaccess/courses/include/vitals.inc.php on line 250 Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'include/../themes//theme.cfg.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear') in /var/www/webaccess/courses/include/vitals.inc.php on line 250 Help! | I think Blumin (?).. we tried to use all of them, but only the default 1.5 seemed to actually work. Every theme gave an error message about being incompatible with 1.6.2 including the default when we changed back to it! Posted: 2009-04-20 11:29:20 | ||

| Although switching themes gives warning "may be incompatible with new version", all themes should be compatible. I tried all of them, no problem. Not sure if you still can get into the system. If can, pls try login as admin, go to "system preference" -> "default preference" and set the "theme" to whatever in the list, maybe 'ATutor' theme, the default one. Posted: 2009-04-20 11:51:40 | ||

| Thanks Cindy, we did that and got that error. We can't even login as admin any more. It seems to me that the error: require(include/../themes//theme.cfg.php) indicates that it's not piclking up the folder name of the theme we have chosen as that path should be: include/../themes/default/theme.cfg.php Thanks.. loosing web access in a mo, will check again in morning if there are any further suggestions. | you are very right. theme folder name, e.g. 'default', should be stored in $_SESSION variable. i couldn't figure out how this variable could be gone by just switching themes. The way i suggested is to re-set the theme which will re-set this variable in $_SESSION. But if u couldn't get in the system, .... need more thinkings. Posted: 2009-04-20 12:01:03 | ||

| This is a different error, not because of the session variables. It complaints the file below does not exist: /home/mcs28/ATutor/themes/default/theme.cfg.php This file should be there after installation. Posted: 2009-05-19 09:52:29 | ||
