I don't know what you mean "flash patch," but it sounds like it is not related to ATutor. If you are creating content, please refer to the documentation with the content authoring tool. And, please read the ATutor Instructor handbook pages regarding importing of content.

We can not provide general development or content authoring help. Only help with ATutor specific issues.

Hi greg,

Sir, procedure is power point presentation (ppt) is converted to flash presentation using a particular software.

After converting to flash presentation we get a zip file of that ppt.

This file should be uploaded to atutor.

Then when we click on that in atutor it should play the flash presentation.

This is possible in "moodle" learning content management system.

Is it possible in atutor.

I tried the same in atutor using import/export content, it uploaded the flash zip file.

But when i clicked on it it didn't play the flash presentation.

Thank you.

You should have no trouble at all playing flash in ATutor, assuming you have a flash browser plugin.

How are you importing the file?

Did you unzip it once it was in ATutor?

Did you insert it into content via the file manager, using the media tag?

Or, are you trying to import it as SCORM content, and playing it withe the SCORM player?

Upload it into the file manager, then from the content editor, and its popup file manager, press the insert button next to the file you uploaded.

The file manager is under the Manage Tab. It sound like you are using the file storage utility.

Hi Greg,

Sir i have used the same, not file storage utility.

The file has been inserted successfully using insert button.

Sir I will explain what I have done,

1. I uploaded the ppt file,(which was converted to
flash using the software which was available in
the "hyperlink" you had given) using "file manager"
under "manage" tab.

The file was uploaded successfully.

2. Then I clicked on "create content" in "content"
under "manage" tab.

3. Under this I clicked on "open file manager".

4. The window of "file manager" poped up.

5. It had the file what I uploaded and the "insert"
button beside mine file name.

6. I pressed on "insert" button.

7. The file got inserted successfully on the left hand
side of the screen under "Content Navigation" blog.

8. Now accordingly when I click on that "file name" it
should play the flash version of ppt. But this is
not happening.

Sir please guide me.

Thank you
Sachin

You're doing something wrong, but I can't tell what that is.

It is an swf file you are uploading?

Please experiment. Use google to look for information about the problem, etc.
