I noticed something weird in the Atutor install I am using. When I log in to as a student to a course I created as instructor, I can e-mail students in other courses using the mail function. I can see the students in another class (which I also made) in the drop down menu of the create new mail. I tested it and it e-mailed the other students who are enrolled in the other class. But right on the mail it says you can only e-mail students enrolled in the same course. Do you know which way it is supposed to be?
This is ATutor 1.4, but it might be a pre-release, not the latest stable version. Can someone check and see if this is happening in the latest version? If so, it might be a bug--if not--no big deal as we will be loading the latest release of 1.4

thanks for your help!

You can mail to student in the same "courses" as you. You can mail from one course to a person in another course you are both registered in.

I'm assuming you are talking about the Inbox.
