Hi Everyone,

Currently trying to install latest build (fresh install). When moving from step 2 to step 3 (although tables are being setup ok in db) I'm getting the following error:

"Internal Server Error, this is an error with your script, check your error log for more information."

no idea what this means and can't get access to server logs.

Setup is:

Apache/1.3.28
PHP 4.3.8
Zlib: Enabled
MySQL: Enabled
safe_mode: Disabled

Anyone had this problem before and found the (probably simple) solution?

Thanks for any help

can you try the latest build from last night?

did you try 1.4.1-stable ?

step 3 was not changed from 1.4.1 to 1.4.2, so i can't think of a reason why you should be getting that error.

can you try installing it locally?

I installed atutor under a different web account I have (on another ISP) and it installs correctly. Must be soemthing they've done which doesn't show up in the checking script. However! When I go to the login page I now get a black screen. I've gone through all the settings and double checked the inputed data and all is present and correct. The script also goes straight to login, bypassing the "you need to install" bit so I'm assuming it is happy. I've tried it under firefox and IE without any luck. Any ideas would be more the greatfully received.

What's the "setup" on the second server you tried? Could be an old php version.

Also make sure there are no trailing spaces at the end of the config.inc.php file, if you've had it open in an editor.

Also try commenting out the CACHE_DIR line in config.inc.php if it is enabled
