On a fresh install of ATutor 1.4.1 on RH9 w/Apache 2.0.40 and PHP 4.3.8, I noticed that the "admin" account ended up being Student Status with an ID of 2 and the first instructor account created during the fresh install is set to an ID=1, although it IS set to "instructor" status as I expected it.

Logging in as "admin" is OK and it allows me to change the status from student to instructor. It just struck me as somewhat "odd" that the IDs would be reversed like that.

Its probably a "feature" and I just don't recognize the value, so perhaps someone could educate me on this fine point!!!!

Otherwise, things seem to work as advertised, straight out of the box.

Thanks to all concerned.

The real admin account is defined in the config.inc.php file and not in the database. The installer lets you create only one account to use, and should be ID 1 since it's the first account created.

Regardless, the numbers used are not important and do not affect the operation of ATutor in any way.
