| Hello, I need the italian language pack for aTutor 1.6.3. I've seen it's almost completed, but it's been in that state during the last weeks so I guess nobody is working on it at the moment. I think I could do the job, but my aTutor installation is on a company intranet server which is not accessible from the internet, so I can't request a translator account. What should I do to translate the package and make it available to the aTutor community? Ciao, Max Posted: 2009-08-25 04:21:36 | ||

| You can translate on your local version of ATutor, though I'm not sure why you would not be able to request a translator account. If you can post to this forum you should be able to request a translator account. That said, if you translate locally, you don't need an account. See the sections in the Administrator handbook on language and translation. And, see the translator documentation. help.atutor.ca/common/print.php?admin www.atutor.ca/atutor/docs/translate.php Posted: 2009-08-25 08:29:00 | ||

| OK, let's start from scratch. How can I download a partially translated language pack? On page www.atutor.ca/atutor/translate/ I can only download packages whose translation has been completed, I don't know how to download, for instance, the italian package. Ciao, Max P.S. I can't request a translator account as in the request form "URL to your ATutor Site:" is a required field. My aTutor installation is not accessible from the internet as it is on a company LAN.

| If you turn on translation as described in the translator documentation, you will be able to import the latest version of the language you're translating (Italian) through the translator in ATutor. See the translator documentation for details if you have not read it yet. www.atutor.ca/atutor/docs/translate.php Also see the Language and Tarnslation sections of the Administrator Handbook. Just include localhost as the location when you register as a translator. Posted: 2009-08-28 09:07:52 | ||
