I edited the english lang pack translating into Turkish in Editing part.
Then I tarnslated it as a Turkish lang pack. I saw the two languages in the list (English and Turkish).
In the system preferences I chose turkish as system lang.
I deleted the english one which is partly edited into turkish in the laguages section, because I wanted to import a clean english lang pack. I thought the translated one into Turkish would be used by the system.
Then I got the message 'There are no languages installed!'
What's wrong the way I foolowed? What should I do to
overcome the problem?

If you have not already, read the translator documentation.

www.atutor.ca/atutor/docs/translate.php

You should not be editing the English language to create a Turkish version. You should import the partial Turkish language pack that already exists, then continue translating it.

Thanks, I solved the problem. Re installing the system. And I imported the turkish lang pack for the version 1.6.1. The only problem now is that while viewing users page, loging date turns anumber such as 12345456 but not the date.
What should I do to solve this? I tried to correct it in translating module but I couldn't find the phrase and indeed I don't know what phrase must be replaced instead.
Thanks for help for the subject.

I'm sorry I could find any help on my problem in Translating dates is described in the translator documentation.
My problem is that I couldn't find the line for "startend_date_longs_format" expression in the turkish lang pack 1.6.1 (UTF-8)and I don't know how to add it.
I can do what I want while converting the English one to Turkish because it has "startend_date_longs_format" expression. But then I will have to translate all expressions into it. And it will take a long time for me. I think "startend_date_longs_format" is missing in the Turkish one for Atutor 1.6. UTF-8

Look a little more closely. There's a section called "Date Variables" in the translator documentation. You should just be able to copy the English date translation into the Turkish translation, then adjust it if necessary.

I get the impression you are replacing English with Turkish. You should not be editing the English translation, but instead adding the Turkish language pack and continuing to edit it.

I suggest you read through the translator documentation again.
