Looks to me like the permissions are not set properly.

Did you include the -R switch when you set the permissions on the content directory?

chmod -R 777 content/

Subject: I don't know how toQuote this post in your reply
My web is parked at a pay hosting. Thus, the only way that I have to chmod the files and folders is through a FTP client. I use SmartFTP, and this software only allows me to set the permissions to 777. I cant see any way of including the -R option. Any suggestion?

See if your ISP will set the recursive chmod for you.

Also: apparently FlashFXP ftp client can do recurisive chmod

I downloaded flashfxp, and set the permissions to 777, selecting the option "apply changes to all subfolders and files". I dont know if this is the -R, but now it works! I imported the spanish language sucessfully.

Thank you very much for your help
