Hi,

I just started a course and created a forum. However, I can find no option to "Start a thread" or anything. All the forum shows is the text "there are no posts" with no other options. There are no button or tools or anything. Same problem if I'm logged in as Admin, Instructor, or Student. I've scoured the system for management options, the guides don't cover this issue and it's extremely difficult to search forums for problems regarding forums, if you know what I mean.

So, question: once you create a forum, how do you make that first thread or post?

Thanks much. Nice system.

Yes, something is wrong. I found a useful document online that says after you create the forum you'll see a "start new thread" button. There is no such button available. Bad install?
