Our Atutor server recently crashed and our backups from out enterprise backup are not working. I have a complete backup of the database and the Atutor content directory. IS there a way I can restore the server?

I did some research on the Internet and this is what I roughly got.

1. Get the base server running .

help.atutor.ca/admin/index.php?

2. Install the same verison of Atutor and make sure you record where the "Content Directory" is .

3 Create the new DB and make sure it has the same name as the old DB.

3. See if the vanilla system comes up.

4. Restore to content from backup into the new content directory.

5. Restore the DB into the new vanilla DB that was created during setup.

Any prayer this will work?

Greg - Last year I also bought a 3 support pack from you folks and used 1 ticket. I have 2 left. Would it be possible for me to e-mail you the name of my business partner so he can use the tickets if needed? I am at my temp. address of rene.iti@gmail.com

Hi Rene
Sorry for the late reply.

Your plan sounds like it might work.

You can share the support tickets with your partner.
