Cash Bus (Cash Cab): PowerPoint Game Template

$8.50

“Cash Bus” is a student-friendly adaptation of the popular game show “Cash Cab”. Suitable for any grade and subject, it’s an engaging team building activity and review game perfect for students!

How to Play

Here is how to get started:

Divide students into small groups of 2-4 students per group. Each group can use one laptop or tablet. When students start the game, a question pops up. The group can discuss the answer at their own pace. After deciding, the student click “show answer.” If the answer is right, they hit “correct” to earn money. If the answer is wrong, they press “wrong” and get a strike. Three strikes, and the team is out. But when the students answer 15 questions without three strikes, they will get a bonus question. This question can be a video, a song, or just a regular question, where they can double their points. The bonus question offers students a chance to risk all their money to double their earnings. But, if they
answer incorrectly, they lose everything and the game ends for them.

During the game, a “red light challenge” question will appear. During the challenge, students get 60 seconds to answer a question wit multiple parts as best they can. If they succeed, they earn extra money; if not, there’s no penalty, and the game continues as usual. I is a fun way for students to quickly earn more points.
